Small-Batch Spirits with Local Flair
Inside the Denmark Good Food Factory, The Right Distillery creates handcrafted spirits in small batches, combining passion with a playful edge. Visitors can sample an inventive range that includes fruit ‘cellos in lime and orange, aromatic sambuccas in white or black, rich amaretto, spiced rum, tequila, and smooth liqueur whisky. Gin lovers are well catered for, with flavours such as rhubarb and ginger, pomegranate, pink, pure botanical, and the locally inspired Green’s Pool. For something a little different, there’s peanut butter whisky, coconut rum, cinnamon whisky, and toffee tequila — all available to taste and take home in a choice of sizes. Sharing the same site, the Elephant Rock Cider Company produces nine refreshing ciders made exclusively with Great Southern fruit. Light, zesty, and unfiltered, they’re best enjoyed by the paddle or glass alongside a meal from the on-site restaurant. With Denmark’s biggest ice cream cones for the kids and bold spirits for the adults, it’s a destination that offers flavour for everyone.
Moombaki Wine
MOOMBAKI Wines: Off the Beaten Track, Worth the Journey
MOOMBAKI is a small, family-run winery with a reputation for producing distinctive, hand-crafted wines. The property borders the pristine Kent River, set halfway between Denmark and Walpole, making it an ideal stop for those exploring the region. A short drive off the main road brings you to the rustic cellar door, where complimentary tastings showcase estate-grown, hand-picked wines that reflect the character of this unique location. Alongside the wines, the cellar door displays artworks by resident artist Melissa Boughey, whose paintings are inspired by the ever-changing colours and forms of the surrounding landscape. It’s a relaxed setting that combines creativity, nature, and fine wine. Dogs are welcome to visit with their owners, though caravans are not suited as there is no turning space on the track. With a warm family welcome and a philosophy that life’s too short to drink mediocre wine, MOOMBAKI offers a genuine taste of the Great Southern.

Just five minutes from Denmark town, The Lake House offers a cellar door and vineyard experience that combines award-winning wines, gourmet food, and a picturesque setting. With views across the lake and surrounding countryside, it’s a place to relax and enjoy the good life. The restaurant specialises in vineyard platters filled with fresh, locally sourced produce, much of it from the property’s organic kitchen garden. Paired with a glass of Lake House Denmark wine, they create a memorable dining experience. Lunch is served daily from 11am to 3pm, with coffee and cake available until 3:30pm — bookings are recommended to secure a table. Visitors can also take home more than wine, with VinoFoods gourmet condiments and Wine Spa body care products available at the cellar door. Blending rustic charm with premium quality, The Lake House is a must-visit destination for both wine lovers and those simply seeking a peaceful spot to unwind.

Our winery has a 5 star rating from James Halliday, visit the cellar door to sample the range wines from the esteemed Kalgan River vineyard. Beyond the cellar door is the expansive dining area overlooking the brewery and kitchen offering space for a large group or an intimate meal for two. The menu features seasonal, local produce, French inspired desserts and wood fired pizzas. Craft beer is brewed on site. The extensive beer garden is the perfect spot to relax over a hand-crafted brew while enjoying the life music over the summer months. The children will be entertained with the well-equipped toy corner and outdoor shaded playground. The Brewery & Restaurant are open 7 days from 10 am for lunch & dinner.
Elephant Rocks Cider Co
WA’s Original Craft Cider House
Based at the Denmark Good Food Factory, Elephant Rock Cider Company holds the title of Western Australia’s first craft cider house. Today, it offers a full cellar door experience where visitors can see the presses, tanks, and bottling lines in action while sampling a refreshing range of handcrafted ciders. Made entirely on-site with 100% local Great Southern fruit, there are nine styles to explore. Classics include dry apple, traditional scrumpy, apple ginger, and perry, while playful blends such as apple strawberry, toffee apple, and apple jalapeño chilli add something unexpected. Light, zesty, and unfiltered, the ciders capture freshness at its best. For those who prefer spirits, The Right Distillery is just next door with its small-batch creations like pomegranate gin, spiced rum, and peanut butter whisky. With both cellar doors side by side, visitors can taste their way through Denmark’s most creative drinks, then relax with a meal from the on-site restaurant or treat the kids to Denmark’s biggest ice cream cones.

Our family owned business produces boutique wines with integrity and pride and is idyllically located in the Walpole Wilderness National Park. Apart from excellent wines, we also have mild and spicy olive oil, pickled olives, tapanade and a wide range of espresso. Certified organic grapes and olives are the fundamentals for our outstanding products, as we fully certified by The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture. Our cellar door is only 7 kilometres from the Tree Top Walk; drive along Valley of the Giants Road and follow our signs. We are situated on the top of the hill, where you can enjoy amazing views over the heritage listed Walpole Wilderness National Park. Open 7 days from 10am - 5pm.
